Before You Mess Up, We Clean Up was ever a business, it was a calling. Our founder, Laura, has spent more than 20 years as a caregiver, working as a daycare assistant and supporting children and families with special needs, including autism. Caring for people, patiently and thoroughly, is simply what she does.
Cleaning started as something she did on her own, quietly, one home at a time. What kept her going wasn't the work itself, it was the faces. The relief of a family walking into a spotless home. The smiles when people realized they didn't have to worry about it anymore.
She started out cleaning alongside others, then struck out on her own, and together with her husband Micael, the business grew from there, built one happy family at a time. Today that same care goes into every home, rental, and turnover across South Bend.

A few things before we clean
Cancellations
Plans change, we get it. Please give us a reasonable amount of notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations without reasonable notice are subject to a $25 fee, so the time we set aside for you isn't lost.
Furry family members
We love pets, but for their safety and ours, please secure them in a separate room or crate during the cleaning so our crew can work freely from room to room.
Pet-friendly supplies. The cleaning supplies we use are pet-friendly, so your home is left spotless and safe for the whole family, four legs included.
